FAN-SERVICE TIME!!!!
LOL. You keep telling yourself that, Shaggy. XD
Really Fred?
Dragging the frightened animal onto your surfboard to monster hunt is kind of a dick move. Just sayin'.
That little scene of Shaggy feeding Scooby the hamburger is adorable, isn't it? This artist is pretty good at little touches like that.
I'd comment on Shaggy's chivalry-fail. But, considering how he's been characterized in certain modern canons, I suppose I should just be grateful that he didn't join the sleezebag and start sexually abusing Daphne, too. >_<
Wait, Velma and Dee Dee know each other (and are apparently good pals)? This is a back story that must be told!!!
And here's an interesting "how to" article about writing for comic book and cartoon stories....
The Marvel Bulletin (this one is kinda cool and worth reading):
A HILARIOUSLY stupid Hostess ad...
In addition to surviving a nuclear apocalypse, Twinkies can foil bank robberies!!
With a generic title like that, how could this new book fail!?
It's weird to think that the "biggest and best" comic convention could be held in a hotel lobby back in the 70s.
Granted, the ad could be BSing. But I still doubt that any nerds alive back then could have conceived of a behemoth convention like the San Diego Comic Con.
This book is one of my new faves. I didn't know it was a cross over issue until I opened it. So it was a pleasant surprise after the initial WTF. I hope you guys liked it, too. ^_^
